HEALING
|
Reiki
is a form of hands on healing that allows the practitioner to
channel healing energy through the horse. It is a noninvasive
therapy that most horses enjoy, becoming relaxed and sleepy
during the process. A session may traditionally last from twenty
minutes to an hour depending on the horses acceptance and requirements.
Reiki has been found to be a positive influence in the improvement
of physical, behavioural and emotional problems.
A good Reiki practitioner will be a positive optimistic
person, with good sound knowledge of horses, that seeks to assist
in the long term improvement of your relationship with
your horse.
A
practitioner should not [BY LAW] diagnose or make negative
suggestions regarding your relationship or management of
the horse.
Several sessions may be required in order to inaugorate long
lasting improvement but generally positive changes can be noticed
after only one session.
If your horse is displaying physical or behavioural problems,
your vet must be consulted prior to a visit from a Reiki practitioner.
This is the requirement of the Veterinary Act of 1966 and applies
to all equine complementary therapies. A phone call is usually
sufficient.
A healing practitioner must be insured for the work that they
do.

Chantal has been around, and worked with, horses for over 10 years and used to ride extensively. Two Summers ago her two horses had to be retired from riding due to their arthritis, and at the time Chantal had qualified as a Meditation Teacher and was studying Reiki Degrees 1, 2 and 3.
Chantal worked and developed her own healing techniques primarily working with Children and young adults, thus developing her own equine therapy using the benefits of bonding and groundwork with horses, to help release issues held by humans.

Christine is a Reiki II Practitioner specialising in working with horses, dogs, cats and people.
In addition to Reiki, Christine is qualified in NLP/Coaching, Shamanic Energy Healing and is also studying Crystal Healing.
Christine began her journey into energy healing in 2007, since then she has witnessed and taken part in amazing changes both to people and animals. Christine is enthusiastic and passionate about her work, with her overall aim being to make a positive difference in people’s lives. Having had lots of pets and being around animals most of her life, she has knowledge and experience of their behaviours and care routines.

Lindsy has been healing horses and other animals for over 25 years, she is registered with the Healing Trust (NFSH) and is a qualified NAC Equine Behaviourist.
Qualified Bach Flower Animal Practitioner and works alongside the Natural Animal Veterinary Centre in South Wales. .
Lindsy is co founder of `The Graze Trust for Horses`.

Lindsy`s inherited gift of healing and a compassionate yet knowledgable approach has enabled her to help hundreds of horses regain health and wellbeing, whilst helping owners understand their animals in greater depth. Although based in Cheshire, she has worked throughout the UK treating horses, other animals and their owners either privately or in small informal groups. She has worked extensively with abused and neglected horses and has a deep understanding of the horse`s mind. She also supports owners and their animals through times of illness and injury.
