Clare MacLeod MSc RNutr Independent Equine Nutritionist

Clare is a horse feeding and nutrition expert with both scientific qualifications and years of practical experience. She is a registered equine nutritionist with two degrees. Clare's scientific knowledge is backed up with years of practical experience feeding both her own and other horses and she currently owns two horses whom she looks after herself.

Clare's job as an independent nutritionist involves giving nutrition and feeding advice to horse owners, yard managers and vets, giving lectures in nutrition and related subjects, writing articles and commercial consultancy for feed companies. She has just completed her first book. She is particularly enthusiastic about feeding horses more naturally, having found in practice that such an approach results in less disease and disorders and more optimal health and performance.
